BANGKOK – December 14, 2010 – Connell Brothers (CBC) today announced its purchase of a warehouse and land in Bang Plee Industrial Estate. The purchase is the latest step the company is taking to provide high-standard logistics practices, as well as their long-term commitment to growing their business in Thailand.
“In the past, we’ve relied on outsourcing for our logistics and services in Thailand,” said Ted Eliot, president of CBC. “This new facility will give us direct control so that we may continue to ensure that we provide our customers with superior logistics services and that our products will be safeguarded with proper storage.”
The current warehouse capacity exceeds 5,000 square meters and is located on nearly two hectares of land allowing room for future expansion. The investment will total about Baht $100 million, which includes upgrades to the existing facility.
