TOKYO – June 11, 2013 – Connell Brothers, the largest marketer and distributor of specialty chemicals and industrial ingredients in Asia-Pacific, announced today that it has signed an exclusive distribution agreement with Struktol Company of America, a leading global supplier of polymer additives, to market and distribute plastic additives which will be made available in the Japanese market.
“We’re thrilled to begin our partnership with Struktol,” said Alex Grantz, business development manager for Connell Brothers. “These additives are a great addition to our current plastics portfolio and we believe that our WPC customers will make good use of Struktol’s very efficient additives.”
Struktol polymer additives are used in a variety of thermoplastic resins, compounds and masterbatches. They provide improved processability, dispersion of fillers and release properties. In addition, Struktol additives can provide functional improvements in compounds such as scratch and mar resistance, odor and volatile control and better mechanical properties.
